Irene Cyr
World Consciousness Community Organizer
Mingjue Gongfu Teacher & Healer
Irene is a Zhineng Qigong teacher and healer certified by Master Wei Qifeng, Master Zhu Conghua and Master Mingtong Gu.
Based on the East Coast of the United States, she is an organizer for The World Consciousness Community, founded by Master Wei.
Irene has taught Zhineng Qigong classes at Lifespan, Rhode Island’s first and largest health care system, affiliated with Brown University. In addition to in-person instruction, she currently leads classes on Zoom.
Irene’s background includes other energy modalities: massage therapy, polarity, reflexology and reiki. She also has experience with geriatric care including Alzheimer’s disease.
Other interests include: Teaching different Zhineng Qigong methods, swimming, reading, gardening, cooking and walks with her rescue dog and partner.
Irene wishes to share her Qigong experience and knowledge with others seeking a life of happiness, health, vitality, inner peace, harmony and unconditional love.

Stephanie Eskins Gleason
Mingjue Gongfu Teacher & Healer
Stephanie is a Minister of Walking Prayer, education and outreach consultant, and lifelong learner. She’s passionate about supporting her own and others’ gentle, conscious awakening and the ways we can live in reciprocity and respect with Mother Earth and all Her creations.
Teaching specialties and healing modalities: Intuition Development, The 13 Moon Galactic Cycle, Zhineng Qigong
Hobbies and Interests: gardening for wildlife, sacred geometry, sacred studies.

Megan Kaun
Mingjue Gongfu Teacher & Healer
Megan has studied with Zhineng Qigong Masters Mingtong and Wei Qifeng. She brings a unique mix of practical science and esoteric discovery in to her playful practices.
Teaching specialities and healing modalities: Zhineng Qigong, intentional dreamwork, sound healing, cancer healing.
Hobbies and Interests: beekeeping, backyard gardening, wilderness camping, tango dancing.

Debbie Harding
Mingjue Gongfu Healer
Debbie’s journey with Zhineng Qigong began in 2004. In 2007, she studied for a month in China with Master Luke Chan and received her Level 1 Teacher Certification. She taught and shared the practices to many veterans in the VA Medical Center where she worked as an Occupational Therapist (currently retired). Debbie found Teacher Wei’s in 2023 and received her Mingjue Gongfu Healer Certification in 2024.
Debbie is certified in Reiki I and has practiced Myofascial Release to treat chronic pain and upper extremity injuries as an Occupational Therapist.
Debbie's hobbies and interests include drawing/painting, crochet, sewing, reading, tropical fish keeping, cooking, and plants/gardening. Her spiritual journey has been a lifelong passion.
Raised in Southern California, Debbie now resides in Columbia, South Carolina for the past 28 years with her husband, two wonderful grown children and three astounding and precious grandchildren.

Suan Armstrong
Mingjue Gongfu Teacher & Healer
Suan's passion, as a magical flutist, healer and teacher, is weaving together improvised sound, color, and spontaneous movement with Zhineng Qigong meditations, visualizations and Body Mind practices. Her mission is to awaken herself and others to the full potential of pure, clear consciousness in unconditional love with an open heart. This supports our healing, free self expression, and the evolution of humanity in partnership with Mother Earth.
Suan is certified as a healer and teacher of Zhineng Qigong by the following masters: Mingtong Gu and Wei Qifeng. Certifications in other forms of Qigong and healing modalities include: Dao Yin Fa, sound and color with chimes, tuning forks and chakra silks, with Fabien Maman; Dao Yin and Medical Qigong (DMQ) with Ted Cibik; overtone singing with Jill Purce and David Hykes, Reiki level II; and studies with Ling and Lu.
Suan happily offers private and group sound/color healing sessions, Qigong classes, and workshops, online and in person at her studio in Connecticut. She also teaches at other healing centers in the greater Hartford area, and wherever the Qi takes her.
Hobbies and interests: ecstatic dance, gardening, cooking and sharing yummy food, hanging out with her cat Bodhi, nature walks, x-country & downhill skiing, and paddle boarding.

Elizabeth Van Valkenburgh
Mingjue Gongfu Teacher & Healer
Elizabeth began her practice journey many years ago studying yoga, tai chi, Reiki and spiritual texts. This focus on meditative movement, meditation, and theory has continued throughout her life. She certified as a yoga teacher in 2014. Qigong entered her practice in 2019. Since then, she has been a dedicated Zhineng Qigong practitioner, studying with Master Mingtong Gu and Teacher Wei Qifeng.
As a practitioner, teacher and healer Elizabeth emphasizes integrating and embodying these profound and transformative practices with presence, grace and compassion for oneself and all life.
Hobbies and interests: gardening, contemplative walks, gazing at and listening to nature, engaging with human and puppy family, reading, imbibing tea and conversation.

Elizabeth Stanbro
Mingjue Gongfu Teacher & Healer
Elizabeth studied Qigong for 12 years with a teacher from the Hua Xia Center in China
before coming to The World Consciousness Community. She joined TWCC three years
ago and was certified to become a teacher and a healer in the last two years.
Elizabeth became certified to teach the UK-based Mindfulness in Schools program for
high school students 10 years ago and has taught the program in several high schools.
Elizabeth developed a Mindfulness and Art-making program that she has taught to veterans
with PTSD, cancer survivors and older adults in senior communities.
Elizabeth is an artist and an art teacher formerly in public schools and now in the Creative
aging sector. She works with people who have dementia and older adults in libraries,
senior communities and skilled nursing facilities.
Her passions are creating collages and sharing this work with others, exploring New
Mexico, hiking in the mountains of Colorado and spending time with her family and
friends.
